WELCOME BACK HOME! THIS PODCAST WAS MADE FOR US! SEASON 2 is FINALLY HERE and I'm SUPER EXCITED to be back! After the pandemic and the unfortunate series of events over these last 4 years, I wanted to create a safe space for people who just wanted to grow within the body of Christ & unlearn some of the unhealthy habits and practices that don't bring healing or restoration of any kind, while also being real enough to face our demons and free ourselves from emotional/physical/spiritual bondage. Whether you're a child of God or not, looking for guidance/advice, searching about the God of the universe, if you're new to the religion, spirituality, or your walk with Christ--it doesn't matter who you are--you could even be in the process of finding out WHO God calls you to be or do, allow us to help you navigate through it in Spirit & truth TOGETHER! It's been a long time coming since my graduation in 2017! God has blessed me to be able to better myself and my content! I've seen people and places that have touched my spirit and made me a better person! A special thanks to the Wheaton College Gospel Choir and my vocal coach of 4+ years, Tanya Egler, whom I call "Auntie" now. This was made for fun back in high school! I just couldn't go without posting this because it was so perfectly done! I shot & edited this short clip of what the video announcements at Niles North were like back in 2017. This was when In The Mix Productions was still just an group of 5 inexperienced kids who couldn't even work a camera, let alone set up lighting, edit, etc. It's always nice to see where I've come from and how much progress I've made in the last 3 years! This was a super exciting project for both me and Lele and we are both so happy that we can finally show it to all of you who love her, as well as me! LELE LIMA is a star in this world and the next! She is a gorgeous, extremely talented, down-to-earth artist from Brazil who came to Columbia College Chicago and she has just blown it out of the water since then! She is a creative in every sense of the word and I'm so glad we got together and made this a thing! Shoutout to Anthony Sprunk and Abner Soares (Orbita Filmes) for helping us to record and mix/edit this track and make it sound as good as it does and for creating this spectacular music video that honestly is one of the best, if not the best, that I've ever seen. AND I'M IN IT!! This is so crazy! I'm so thankful and grateful that God brought these people in my life and helped us to cross paths because this wouldn't be possible without their amazing God-given gifts and talents! This was shot downtown Chicago near Navy Pier and we just happened to be lucky enough to be able to shoot near the fireworks and it looked SO AMAZING!
